@Davidmw12

Try retuning your mystery device.

Hi - do you mean I should return my EE box and request replacement. As other tv channels ie sky / now etc are working OK it would seem its not the box.

@Davidmw12

Retuning is not returning.

‘Mystery’ is because you are not telling us which of several possible devices you have; knowing what it is is always helpful in these circumstances.

Hi - Sorry misread. My unit is the TV BOX PRO which is having the problem. My TV BOX MINI works fine.

I have noticed the channel lists differ on each box ie on the TV BOX PRO 001-005 are not HD channels and 101 - 105 are the unavailable HD channels. On the MINI 001-005 are all listed as HD with no listings from 058 thro to 201.

How do I retune ? if this is what is required. Has there been a software update which the PRO has not responded to ?

Thanks for your help

See this article: https://ee.co.uk/help/tv-sport/manage-use/modes

Your BT Box Pro is in aerial mode, so is reliant on a good aerial signal to show your Freeview TV channels.  If your aerial signal has degraded (e.g. a cable has fallen out, or a signal booster turned off), then you'll lose those channels.  If you disconnect the aerial and factory reset your box, it'll go into the same mode as your TV Box Mini.

Have retuned TV BOX PRO and no change except its now lost and does not list any BBC channels.

The BBC status page isn't showing any issues with the Freeview transmission in your area, which suggests that the issue is most likely with your TV aerial.  If you connect the aerial cable directly to your TV instead, are you still able to view BBC channels there?

Hi - checked as you advised with no Freeview channels available so checked aerial plug and this was the problem- wire had worked loose. All good now. Thanks for your help.

All sorted and working OK now - incidentally I checked aerial signal strength and it says 94% and 100% Quality - is this how it should be or is signal strength a little low ?
