HBO max films add on

I already have tnt sports on h o max but when watch a film tells me I need to subscribe to it through my provider which is ee but can’t find how to get it

What option did you select to see that?  If you select your profile in the top right corner, then select Subscriptions, you should see options to "Upgrade through HBO Max" and/or "Get access to more content".
