EE TV problem. I have had an issue recently when watching recordings as they are breaking up and unwatchable. Primarily on ITV.
I have reset hub, all boxes and routers as well as the fibre box on the wall but still keeps happening on at least a weekly basis. Getting really p!ssed off with this regular issue. Anyone had same?

Hi @BigRoj
Sorry to hear of the experience you're having with the TV service.
Is it only the recordings that are buffering, or so you have the same issue when watching live TV too?
Are you using arial mode or IP mode only?

Hi ali, just recordings and IP mode only. Thanks

Thanks @BigRoj
Are any of your boxes connected via ethernet directly, or are they all connected via WIFI to the router?
When they start to buffer, if you run a speedtest is there any change to your broadband service at the time?

All boxes wifi. Speedtest seems ok. I think the issue is when its recording rather than om playback. If i go to itvx the same programme plays ok but even if i "rewind" the recording the same breakup happens in the same places.

Thanks @BigRoj
When watching these recordings, are the break-ups always happening at the same point?
This would indicate an issue with the connection at the point of recording rather than the act of viewing itself.

Yes peter that's correct. Always seems to be ITV recordings that are affected too.

Cheers, @BigRoj
Do you ever notice this when watching live ITV, or any other channels too?
Also when you mention doing a reset on your box, have you had the chance to do the full reset option mentioned on our help page here?
How to reset your EE TV Box | TV and Sport Help | EE
You can see two options listed here that allow you to keep any existing recordings.
