Apple TV - few questions I couldn't find online.

the EE Apple TV box, I know changes based on what is the current model. yes there is one coming out this year but from what I can see, isn't that much different.

Anyway. my two questions are:

  1. Which version of the current 3rd Gen 4K is the EE one? is it the 64GB wifi only or the 128GB with ethernet? (I tend to prefer to put my streaming devices on ethernet where possible no big deal if its wifi only.)
  2. I used to have the BT box pro before the whole EE merger etc, that required IGMP Snooping on due to it using Multicast. is it the same for the Apple TV or is this one using unicast etc?

Thanks

The 128GB with Ethernet is supplied.

EE TV on Apple TV is unicast at the moment.  MAUD will eventually be released, meaning it can benefit from multicast if a compatible hub is used, but will always fall back to unicast if MAUD is unavailable.

Perfect thankyou for your response.

no problem with either, I'll set it up with unicast when MAUD is ready I'll turn on IGMP snooping as I had done before. (I use 3rd party kit - overkill for a flat but im a Nerd so....)

Have a good day.
