Free 6mths Apple tv not working

I have 6mths apple tv+ with my ee mobile contract. I tried to activate it today and it looks like it's already activated. I've never been sent a code to get it to work. After nearly an hr online to ee chat I was sent a link. The link only asks me to login. I've tried my email acct registered with ee and my apple acct. Neither work but take me round an eternal loop of logins. Please help.

@RLM73 Glad to hear you have managed to activate the offer now. It does sound like you have set the add-on to remove at the end of your current bill date by mistake. If you reach out on our live chat or by calling 150 one of our guides should be able to stop it removing on the 21st.

Is the 6 months add-on showing within your list of active mobile add-ons in your online account on the website or app?

What type of link have you been sent? It should be in the format of http://tv.apple.com/gb/carrier?p=EE_ATV6M&a=xxxxxxxxxx with those last x's being a series of numbers. Does that look like what you have been sent? 

Loading a valid link like this should take you to a page which will say you have Apple TV+ through EE with a Start watching button which you press to login to activate the offer on your Apple ID.

Hi Alex, thank you for your quick reply. The link like that was sent to me yesterday on an ee helpchat. I tried it on a different web browser which seemed to activate the add on. I then successfully logged into apple tv. However, i tried to remove the add on in order to reinstall or activate it and it is now showing an expiry of 21 January. Apple say to contact ee to sort it. Thank you again.
