Any idea why I keep getting this screen when I try to activate this free offer?

Hi @eb154

Have you tried activating this using a different device or web browser? If so, does the error still show?

What happens when you click "activate on apple.com"?

Yes, I’ve tried that and the button brings up the error message.

@eb154  I too also get that error message.  I just can not be bothered to call CS to sort it out

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Probably what they rely on. Sky keep an eye on their community pages and offer real help where they can. Any chance EE will pick this up? 🤔 🙄

Hi @eb154

Do you have a VPN connected? If so, could you try with it switched off?

Could you also try on another device or browser to see if the same error comes up please?

Hi

VPN isn’t switched on and exactly the same thing happens on phone and tablet.

OK, thanks @eb154

Are your phone and tablet the same manufacturer? Do you have the option to try using a different browser? This information will be able to help us look into what is causing it.

Hi
Yes, they’re both Apple, ironically. I’ve tried using a different browser (Firefox), but the offer doesn’t appear on EE’s website, only in the app. In fact, ‘Manage Extras’ doesn’t appear at all on the site whichever browser I’m in. Only ‘Get Extras’ and ‘What You’ve Got’. I have a pc, but I’m not sure there’s any point firing it up when the offer doesn’t appear on the website. My pc is dedicated to something else and I really shouldn’t have to start downloading apps on to it as well just to retrieve an offer.

OK, thanks @eb154

I'm going to get this fed back to the relevant team to look into.

If you text TV Plus to 150, are you able to add it that way? Or do you already have the code and this is part of the process to activate it?
