Hi
I keep getting informed that I can upgrade my broadband early but not downgrade. This grinds me as when I was told by BT 18 months ago I was forced to take the higher package at 82 pounds a month. BT scammed me and stated before we heard about EE migrating over to have a free upgrade. Now I have been argueing this for 18 months and want to downgrade to a cheaper subscription. I keep getting told I can upgrade but if I want to downgrade I have to pay the cancelaltion fee. Well to be honest I am planning on leaving EE as there broadband service is no better than anyone elses as they all go back to the same common point a DSLAM in the BT exchange.
Is there no way I can argue that I should have been given the option when I migrated to downgrade to a cheaper package as 82 pound a month is daylight robbery.

What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed? Which EE router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)?

@Fluster Although the cost is high, no one has any idea what you have what you settled on or any reason why, you do NEED to compare like for like with any supplier, and as a member of the BT Group off companies, downgrading is a Not going to happen but that is the same for virtually all ISP's business acumen. Getting a good price that you are going to be happy with then you may just have to go checking and surfing to fine out!
