So this is how EE treats loyal customers of 6+ years.
I have ordered a tv on an offer for 1 quid initial payment and 18 pounds a month after that. Got confirmation email saying its on its way and then got a message to contact the support only to learn that its really 200 pounds initial payment and 20 after that. Thank you EE, can't wait to end my contract with you.
You can as well advertise flight tickets to vegas for a fiver this way!

Surely, they’ve made an offer, you’ve accepted that offer, and so the bargain has been struck?
It’s not like they made an offer ( = “invitation to treat”) by mistake, and when you attempted to take it up, they knocked it straight back, no deal struck.
I’d complain.

@Generick72 Not sure why you got told it’s £200 upfront as it’s only £50

Hi @Chris_B,
The OP ordered the 55inch model, which is £200 upfront. I've attached a screenshot below:

@Matt_124 lol. Looked at the wrong one.

@Generick72 Just to point out no seller has to agree to a price if it’s wrongly marked up. if it’s priced higher and it’s wrong then yes they owe you but if it’s marked up lower then the seller doesn’t have to honour that price.
You got an automatic response to your order it doesn’t mean it was actually accepted.

and this
The legal rights afforded to a customer when online shopping will depend on whether or not they have a ‘contract'. The contract between a company and consumer will depend on the company's terms and conditions. A contract will usually exist once the customer has either paid for the item or the item has been sent to the customer.

Indeed. The item/price in the “shop window” (whether High St or online) is simply an invitation to treat. If the seller has made a mistake, they can’t get forced to honour it. But according to the OP he accepted the offer and they confirmed it. A contract then existed. I’ve no idea whether he bought the wrong TV. I’m simply saying they accepted it then tried to change it after.
My advice to the OP stands. Complain, with screenshots.

This is the screenshot i tried to attach, with my order confirmation. I'm just dissapointed. Should it say it's 200 quid upfront i would probably still go for it, maybe not in january, but this kind of practice put me off completely.
I appreciate your input though.

I appreciate your input. By this time I'm kind of upset with the whole situation as i've always been happy with EE customer service.
