So when I do a series record on Sky Sports F1, I record the practice qualifying sprints and races. However this box sees to want to record eveything and anything that is on the channel. I end up with a series of recordings of utter no use. I did not set to record nor have any interest in watching.
this appears to be an issue with whoever is blocking together the programming into series’
How is a 2025 live F1 race weekend part of the same series as a replaying of a race only that occurred 8 years ago….?
EE please fix this, it’s become quite the annoyance and have to constantly be deleting useless recordings taking up space I never wanted recorded

It's something we're aware of, and we have daily calls with our data supplier to try to address these issues. They're in the process of upgrading their systems to fix these issues, but it may take a few more weeks.
Unfortunately, for now, the recommendation is to schedule programmes individually instead of series record.
I can only apologise for the inconvenience.

Just to clarify @DarrenDev is it the same data suppler for the Now channels (ie the F1 problems) and the TNT Sports channels (Rugby Prem isuues) ?

There have been a few issues since we were forced to migrate to a new supplier. The TNT Sports data is one issue. The TNT Sports recording accuracy (starting/stopping at the right time) is a 2nd issue. The data throughout the rest of the EPG (all channels) is a 3rd issue.
#1 and #2 are mostly fixed (they're still working on a few exceptions).
#3 is a larger issue that requires the upgrades that are taking place over the next few weeks.
