Watch recording

Hi chaps,

I just started using EE from virgin. I recorded 3 episodes of top of the pops last night and when I went into mytv to watch them I only had the choice to watch by using the BBC app. With virgin I was able to watch all recordings from their normal menu. So, when I want to watch recordings from any channel do I have to use their app? If so then that's a really poor way of doing things.

Thanks

It's just the BBC channels and it's contractual when using the pro box in internet mode and the edge box which has no option of an aerial mode and doesn't allow recordings but can let you add shows to the watchlist.

If you have a pro box and an aerial and would prefer to record shows from the BBC you would need to reset it to aerial mode by resetting it to factory settings.

All TV networks with apps do this now for streaming boxes, it is being forced on EE/Sky etc by their contracts with the networks

@Colstalex not on the pro box, it's the only recordable box for EE now.
