looking at  EE TV list of channel  page although I'm not in these Northern regions I'm not clear what this means to customers in those regions. The image will  require approval before being viewable but is also currently within

It's nothing more than a renaming of TV regions - they'll receive the same programmes/service as they did before.

This was a request from ITV to tidy up a legacy naming discrepancy between EE TV and other platforms.

Don't worry, the images were awaiting approval. I have now done so & they should appear soon.

It means that the Channel ID will change for those in those areas.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

What does that mean though? The implication is that everyone currently getting Granada will now get Yorkshire West. I can't believe that is the case, but there are no qualifiers on it [to be fair virtually no customer will regularly read the online channel list].
