EE tv BOX PRO

Hi,

I joined EE/BT on the 6th February 2024. When I signed up I asked for an  EE tv BOX  PRO as a member of my family due to health reasons needs the ability to record programmes. I was assured that I would get that box and in addition I would be sent two Mini Boxes free of charge. The equipment duly arrived but there were three Mini Boxes no  tv Box Pro sent. I immediately called 150  and the person I spoke to informed me that there was a problem in that Mini Boxes were being sent out in error. He informed me that he would have the correct box sent out and also sent the return packaging for me to return the unwanted Mini Box. I have since spoken to EE five times about this and was told a manager has to authorise the sending out of an EE tv BOX PRO and each time this was done. I still have not received the EE tv BOX PRO. Has anyone else had this same problem and if so what did you do to get the correct equipment.

I’ve just ordered EE tv and same happened to me. Sent out new router and a mini box , no tv box. Called 150 and they are sending out pro box next week apparently.

They didn't send a new TV Box Pro as you don't need one @Deldel-31 - the new box is the same as the old one, but just in a different shape case.  It'd only be an inconvenience to customers if we sent out new boxes as standard.

As your posting has nothing to do with the thread that you have posted it in, you might do better to go back and select ‘Start a Conversation’ at the top of the Community, and post again there. This will give it a thread of its own, and the prominence  it deserves.

You might also like to specify what model of tv box it is, and how long it lasts before going off; if hours, that’s normal, if minutes, it bespeaks a fault.

Also clarify if it is indeed the box that goes off (which shouldn’t switch the tv off) or if in fact it is the TV going off, and not the box. Better say what TV it is, also.

Hi one of mine kept turning itself off, stayed on for about ten seconds an engineer was sent out and turned out to be a duff box.
