Hi, I've just received a EETV mini hub so I can watch TV on a second screen in a garden room. WiFi in the garden room is provided by a TP Link WiFi extender linked by a cable to the router in the house. I have successfully connected to the WiFi in the garden room on my phone and laptop, however the EE mini hub can't locate it. Any ideas how to resolve this?!

So I turned on the box and TV today - it invited me to retune the channels and lo and behold, this time all the live channels appeared. So it works fine with the extra ethernet cable in place (I presume this effectively continues the connection from the house and circumvents the TP link?). Having a cabled connection isn't exactly the clean look I was hoping for so I'll continue to explore solutions to the WiFi approach, but at least I can now watch sky sports in the mancave.
Yes, only one meter at the house so sounds like a PowerLine Adapter would still work. I guess the option would be to try a EAP655
I also tried to connect the Samsung smart TV to the TP Link to be able to use the apps on the TV to avoid needing the extra ethernet cable to be always plugged in. The TV "connects to the wireless network but not to the internet"

That message about the Samsung TV is not an uncommon one, and I have seen such with various devices, but I usually find them transient, rather than real ‘hard errors’ (except with Windows devices, which have endless ways not to play ball 😢).
But with a TV, it can usually be fixed by resetting the TV or the router, or both.
Start with the TV; disconnect it from the mains and wait two minutes. If it has physical On/Off switch, press that and keep it pressed for thirty seconds or so.
If this doesn’t fix it, power cycle your router - and for completeness perhaps, the TP-Link as well.
Then try connecting the TV again.
