New to EE TV from Sky, a few frustrations that Sky Q does better.
Can the fast forward be changed so that when fast forwarding say at x30 when you press the reverse button it drops to x12 and then x6 instead of instantly changing to reverse.
Can you stack recordings for the same series in one icon and not show each episode individually.
Can you offer a way to delete a recording series on the box. I seem to only be able to do this through the App? A recording schedule menu?
Can you stop SD channels listing when there is an HD option this is infuriating. If i have HD i will never want SD.
Can you put a TV aerial connection on the MiniTV box. It's madness for it not to have one and be able to behave the same as the main box but without recording.
The above would improve my experience no end and encourage more people to join from Sky through positive feedback.

I too have just moved from Sky, and found the switch to be quite the change.
You have to remember, EE TV is NOT Sky.
It took me a few days to get my head around the box and UI, but once i 'accepted' the loss of some of the sky functionality, it became a much more pleasurable experience.
I agree, some of the things you mention above would be great to see on EE TV, but i doubt we ever will.

This I can help with....
In the guide, press the yellow button and hide all the SD channels. I had the same opinion as you...why are they there....
Found the option to hide channels, 5 minutes later, job done, my guide only shows HD channels, and no 'duplicates'

Thanks on the hiding thing I will do that.
I do accept it's not Sky but they could make simple changes to the software to improve and make this less of a change. It's not so much i want what i had but it was actually better and so could this be.
Therefore get more Sky viewers to swich maybe??

You said:-

And these are my replies, in italics:-
Press the left or right single arrow beside the OK button to stop the scrolling, and then go backwards,
Can you stack recordings for the same series in one icon and not show each episode individually.
Press the ‘My TV’ button, and the display you get does this.
Can you offer a way to delete a recording series on the box. I seem to only be able to do this through the App? A recording schedule menu?
Again, go into My TV and you can delete a selected series with the red R button. Or you can go into a selected series and delete individual episodes with the Delete option shown.
If you want to stop a series from recording any more episodes though, select Scheduled top right, select what you want to cease, and use the red R button to Cancel.
Can you stop SD channels listing when there is an HD option this is infuriating. If i have HD i will never want SD.
Apart from the solution above, the Box Mini does this automatically, as does the Box Pro if you put it in IP Mode. This is slightly superior to the blanket Hide, as it leaves the SD options visible for channels where there is no HD option.
Can you put a TV aerial connection on the MiniTV box. It's madness for it not to have one and be able to behave the same as the main box but without recording.
I suggest you seek out the predecessor to the Box Mini on eBay or somewhere similar. That took a TV Aerial. But there was so much tech in the box that its cost was too close to the recording box. And it was niche. It didn’t do much more than the smart TV you might have plugged it into, except allow pause and rewind. The Box Mini is enormously cheaper to make. And the trend is away from recording boxes anyway; the AppleTV box doesn’t, and the Box Pro is Custer’s Last Stand in the recording world.
The above would improve my experience no end and encourage more people to join from Sky through positive feedback.
Then I hope you agree your experience is improved by being shown how you can indeed do many of these things on the EETV platform.

You may also notice that the new EETV boxes are very Sky User Friendly; we don’t require you to buy a TV aerial to use them, as we expect most of you won’t have one.

@Midnight_Voice I think that your respose is a little optimistic as to some current capabiities. Specifically
"can you stop SD channels listing when there is an HD option this is infuriating. If i have HD i will never want SD.

Currently the Box Pro EPG would have both SD and HD (versions) of TNT/Eurosport and Now channels where the channel is offered in both versions so they would need hiding to remove. IP mode or aerial mode doesn't change this. In Ip mode the freetoair channels are offered in the best quality that EETV have negotiated with the broadcasters. So they (freetoair) are either HD or SD but not both in IP mode. (fewer channels than if you had full freeview reception via aerial but more in HD and ofter better SD quality that the Freeview multiplexes offer).
