Hi there.
I’m looking at getting EE TV Pro box however I already have an AppleTV (bought from Retail) with the EE TV app installed.
I’d prefer to use the EE TV Pro in the main room and use the Apple TV app in my bedroom, is there an section to subscribe to this or is it inclusive?
Thanks

EETV don’t care what devices are connected to what TVs, just as long as they are in range of the EETV router, via WiFi or PLAs, or connected over Ethernet.
You may find if you try and use EETV on both at once, it will ask you to nominate the second device as the master, and make you keep flipping back and forth.
But the EETV app on a retail AppleTV is very limited; what use do you intend to make of it?
However, you should find thar all the apps you subscribe to on the Pro Box are available on the AppleTV, and you can use your EETV login to access these freely.

I just intent do watch a couple shows on demand - maybe the odd live TV - I don’t even mind paying extra if both can be used at the same time

You can use the EE app on the non EE apple TV but there is no option to watch free to air or now live TV channels using the EE app, but you should be able to watch the TNT, Discovery or asian package channels.
For all other channels you would need to use the live channels in the appropriate PSB or Now TV app.
Using a mini box would be the only option for multi room.

@Weerab2024 You most certainly can watch free to air channels on a none EE Apple TV. Just download the relevant app. You can not use the EPG to get to that channel though.

@Chris_B That's what I meant, you can watch live channels via the appropriate broadcasters app that allow it but you cant use the EPG.
There is no link in the EE app for live streams for other channels other than those I mentioned.

@Weerab2024 said “there is no option to watch free to air or now live TV channels using the EE app”.
Which was exactly right, but the line break the Community software put in the middle of it was unfortunate.

You can only get one main EETV device, either a TV Box Pro or an Apple TV 4K, supplemented with an “extra box” subscription and a TV Box Mini (or 2).
If you are set on EE TV, then the important thing to remember is the service checks how many boxes you are allowed on your connection, not what type.
I would order the Apple TV 4K as the main box and a TV Box Mini with ‘extra box’. Sell your existing Apple TV 4K and order an EE TV Box Pro from eBay, CeX or similar.
Install the EE supplied Apple TV 4K in the bedroom and the EE TV Box Pro in the main room, leaving the TV Box Mini in the box. Your connection will be set up for 2 devices, it doesn’t matter that you have swapped the TV Box Mini for a privately sourced TV Box Pro.
That said, there is also a lot of noise about a new Apple TV 4K coming in the next few months, so I would be more inclined to wait to see if that is available via EE before making a decision personally.
