Apple TV and discovery premium activation help

I’ve just signed up for full works with ee. I’ve been able to add my existing Netflix and now subscriptions without any problems. I received activation links which all,worked. However when I try to activate my 6 month free trial of Apple  TV and discovery premium, nothing happens. It just says loading , then takes me back to same page saying activate? I spoke to ee customer service, who said I have to wait 14 days to get the code? I did receive a text for Apple TV activation, but as my phone is android, this didn’t seem to work. Anyone had experience of this and can help me activate these 2 subscriptions please?

I’ve somehow managed to do it now! It seems I had to go on the app and it’s done.

Same issue - Netflix & Now TV are fine, but when I click on my Full Works / manage TV extras / Start Activation for 6 months trial of Apple TV+ on EE app it doesn't connect to Apple.com. EE on phone say its Apples fault, Apple on phone say its EE fault. EE shop is useless when I call in. Last phone call to EE cost £21.42 and didn't fix things - not phoning them again! Thanks.

Have you tried activating it on a different device, @edaeach?

Did you call one of the numbers on our contact us page? Calls to the numbers on there should be free from an EE phone.

Apple TV activation link not even viewable via my laptop, only have tried link thru app on my phone.

Only my landline is via EE, mobile is with O2 as reception from EE in this are was so bad I ended EE mobile contract early.

Our contact number for non EE phone is 0330 123 1105 and would be included in any plan allowance that you get with O2. Is this the number you called?

Number I call started with 0753, which I was informed "should be" free. But it wasn't.

Can anyone assist with why Apple TV activation link doesn't work on EE App? Thanks.

It would be included in any minutes allowance you have @Lesley_W 

I'd recommend giving them a call when you can on that number I provided and see if they can get this sorted. If not, hopefully someone will comment if they can help.
