I had moved from BT to EE, kept my BT TV Pro and added the EE mini TV multiroom box.

On the EE mini TV multiroom box all the FAST channels on the prime video app are there and working but they are not on my BT TV Pro that has had its software updated to reflect the new EE TV change.

Why are the apps different between the boxes and will the app on the BT TV Pro be updated? Thanks

Yes @Weerab2024  - I've since updated @Peter_W and the person who he spoke to.

As things currently stand, the FAST channels are unlikely to ever be added to the Amazon Prime app on the TV Box Pro.

Darren will the fast channels be available on eetv in the future? hopefully ee are looking into this

Well upon launch the Box Pro was described in the BT press release as

“The IP capable box is designed to support the future of all IP streaming”

@zulu17 that was a bit optimistic given the lack of additional channels since BT launched IP mode.

The new upcoming freely puck devices, suddenly look appealing.

To be fair - the hardware is fully capable of supporting it. It could be supported if there was enough demand, but a few free channels in a single app hasn't driven enough demand to justify the huge time and expense it would take.

As for the lack of channel updates - I'm told stuff is happening.  That's purely a commercial issue, not a technical one.
