If I switch to my Sky Q after watching EE Tv my EE Tv box freezes and has to be switched off at the plug to stop it. When I power it up it goes back to factory set up which deletes all my recordings and programming. If I switch the EE Tv off using remote before switching to my Sky Q then it starts up as normal with no issues.
When I switch between Sky and EE it’s via TV input and both boxes are hooked up with HDMI. I’ve had my EE TV box replaced but no difference. Both TV boxes are connected to my EE smart hub which is the latest unit and is in the same room as the TV boxes and have approx 750mbp WiFi signal strength.
Anyone else having this issue?

Hi @ANDYBZXR
Welcome to the community.
Have you tried a different HDMI cable or a different HDMI port, if you have a spare one, just to see if the same problem occurs?

I had a similar set up without issue, it does seem very weird. It can't be the specific EE TV box as you have tried two, and I can't believe it has anything to do with the internet connexion.
You don't say the TV type, but have you tried turning CEC off on your TV [called different names by different TV manufacturers] and seeing if the behaviour continues?
If you just have two HDMI ports in use going into the TV and have any others spare, one other [unlikely to work] thing to try is make sure neither are connected to the ARC / e-ARC HDMI port. The HDMI sockets normally have the one that is ARC indicated next to the socket.

Check what channel the EE router is on for the 5GHz band and if it's 36 change it to something else as Sky Q uses that channel and it might be that's what causing an issue. I think it's unlikely but worth a check anyway as that channel conflict has been problematic in the past.
