EE TV - Entertainment TV packages post 26th March

Looking at todays  official media release from Warner Bros. Europe it says

A new NOW Entertainment & HBO Max (Basic with Ads) bundle will be available from March 26. Existing NOW Entertainment Members will be automatically switched to the Entertainment & HBO Max Membership. Basic with Ads will also be integrated into the NOW platform.

Does this apply to existing and new EETV packages that include Now entertainment membership  ?

@Weerab2024 EE TV subscribers who already had discovery+ will keep it. No loss of anything.

New subscribers don't get it, and there are no plans to add it again.

@DarrenDev it's the loss of the Discovery Channel that has occured on the EPG that I am refering to though.

It's not viewable on the EPG and on the EE TV app I am told it is no longer part of my package but I am an entertainment package subscriber.

EE Pro TV box, Full Fibre 900, Sky Stream

Discovery is still there in the EPG at 320 (SD) and 325 (HD).  Your account should still have had access to it, but somehow it had been removed - I've added it back again, and asked a colleague to check why it was missing.

It's taken me 24 hours to figure all of this out. .... But this set of new arrangements looks ok to me.

I'm paying EE £22 a month for TNT Sports - which I can now access on the HBO Max app as well as TV Box Pro. Happy with that.

But the gravy is the ability to upgrade my HBO Max account for £14.99 a month to the full HBO Max Premium Tier. So that's £37 a month TNT Sorts, and pretty much all the movies and shows I currently watch on Now (I have a direct Now subscription), but with (where available) content in native frame rates, 4K HDR10, Dolby Vision, and Atmos, through the HBO app.

I think that's pretty good. To get the same content (TNT, HBO Max Premium) directly with HBO would run to £46 a month.
