Got my TV on, needs 1 remote. To switch TV off, needs 2 remotes.....stupid, or what?
Watch a program on, say ITVx, then want to watch a different one (still on ITVx)...do I really have to reload the app? Every time?
Have no idea what 'My List' is all about, can't find any guidance. Getting kind of pi55ed off now.
And to delete a program the app has recorded (why?), I need to FFwd until the end, then sometimes it goes away. As Peter Kay says; "what's that all about"?
Forget discovery+, cannot fathom that out at all.
Does it really have to be so difficult?
Really?
It's all making me watch less telly.😂
I've been with EE now for 4months..... can't say the TV part has given much joy. Headaches yes, but that's not what I want.
I'm sure there's probably more in the system.....not feeling ready to look yet: will not be easy I'm sure.
Anyone else the same?
😕

I assume you have a TV Box Pro?
To turn off your TV, hold down the power button on the TV Box remote.
If you choose a programme from the main menu or TV Guide, then it'll launch the app directly into that programme - therefore pressing back from there will quit the app. Alternatively, you can launch the app from the apps list and then you can go back and forth between programmes with ease.
"My list" is a feature of the ITVx app - you can programmes to it from within the ITVx app, to make them easier to find later.
I'm not sure what you mean when you say "the app has recorded" - the TV Box won't ever record anything it hasn't been told to. You don't need to fast forward to the end - just press back to come out of it.
What issues are you having with discovery+?
All of the issues you've described are with the apps on the TV Box - they behave in the same way on other platforms too.

@BedazzledbyEE @DarrenDev It can be a problem having to use 2 remotes to turn your tv and EE tv box on/off. I’ve been overcome this by using a One For All remote that allows me to control from a single remote.
The My List rail on the box contains any programs you have recorder and those that are scheduled to record. It also contains contains any programs that you have added to a watchlist to view later through one of the TV apps. You do not have to fast forward to the end of any program on the watchlist to enable you to go to the next episode or a new app. You can just use the back button to stop what you are viewing and then simply move on to a new app or program. With your list of recorded programs, once you have viewed a recording press the back button to stop and then the information button. After selecting the information button you will be given an option to delete the recording
Hope that helps
