Do you need to pay extra for Apple TV

As in the Apple were you in subscription? Yes I think you probably get three or six months free but then it’s so much after then as far as a box is concerned you get a choice of Apple TV or the pro box. The Apple TV does not record the pro box records but can only be viewed on the pro box to have it cannot stream to the mini boxes like Sky can I wish I could tell you more, but I gave these devices straight back and cancelled contract

All hear this this the sales people will say anything to get you to sign a contract, this issue about Disney Plus is never mentioned when signing up,the sales people also said to me about better deals or tarrifs on your phone, yes if also you sign up for a new contract..bad sales at the shops I think

Just an update on your comment,it just needs to be a smart tv to install Disney Plus ,I've got a Phillips TV and installed it on that.and I've also seen other smart TVs that have it ,so it's not just apple

The sales people in the ee shops are the culprit so they get there sales figures up for sure,I got mis led and they tried to get a fee one month before I even had the ee box sent to address,I'm not going to my local shop any more will contact ee direct for next service..

Disney Plus is available on almost all streaming services. Trust BT/EE to take for ever to tempt Disney to develop an app for their outdated tv streaming boxes. Far better off with an Apple TV, Roku, fire stick or android box or even Sky Stream. All my EETV is in the cupboard after it was used once.

I was told exactly the same thing by EE rep

@Jasko You mean Youview as it’s their box. It literally says that when you start it up. 🤦

I believe it (ie the Box Pro) is an EE box manufactured by Sagemcom which runs the Youview Service. It is a Youview device but is the responsibily of the company who manufactured/supplied it.
Youview does have Disney+ .as they announced back in June 2024 in their review of 2023/2024
With the launch of Apple TV+, Discovery+, Disney+ and GB News, we added more content providers to our platform further enhancing the viewing experience for our customers..
BUT as the Youview Terms of Use say.
1.2.5 the Content available and features of the YouView Service may vary, be different or be unavailable depending on the YouView device you have (for example we may not be able to make certain Content available on certain devices);.
So not all Youview devices have the same content.
