hi
I have just changed over to ee tv and the discovery plus premium is included. However when I click on the link to activate it it doesn't take me to the discovery plus site which is what its supposed to do it just sys loading then takes me back to the activation link. I have tried to activate it on different browsers but it makes no difference it does exactly the same thing.
Any suggestions anyone please?? Is there any other way to activate it does anyone know please? Ive tried googling and been n the discovery plus website but it just says to do what I'm trying to do with out any success!

This appears to only work for TNT Sports.
I’m having the same issue as OP — unable to activate Discovery+

Did either of you get it sorted? I’m having the same problem and getting no help at all from EE!

Yes I did get it sorted eventually. I spoke to someone in the tech team at EE and they logged in to my account at their end it , created a new Discovery + account and managed to activate it that way for me. He did say they were having a few issues with it.

In case anyone else is having this same issue, try a different browser. I was trying on my phone and iPad using Safari and was getting the same result as the OP. Switched to my Macbook using Google Chrome and it worked first time

I called them on Saturday after setting up my new Apple Tv box.
I'm paying for TNT Sports but couldn't get them to work, either via the EE Guide, or via the Discovery+ app.
I am using a third party router as the EE Router they sent me kept dropping everybody off after 2-3 minutes.
So I've unplugged the EE Router Plus, and have gone back to using Asus router I had before, albeit now with much faster speeds.
They told me that the channels would not be activated on my account unless I was connected to the EE provided router.
Anybody else had this issue? And found a work around?
Tech told me that perhaps firing up the EE router, resetting the Apple Box to factory settings, reconnecting to the EE router, getting it all working, then going back to my Third Party Router and it will possibly work, just needs the Router+ to initially get it going.
Going to hopefully try this later.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

@AlanWsM with a TV Box Pro or TV Box Mini, the router can be relevant.
With Apple TV, it's not relevant at all - you don't need to use the EE provided one to activate or use any part of the EE TV service.
Can you please let me know what error you see when you try to watch TNT Sports via the TV Guide on your Apple TV? Please note that you don't have the HD add-on, so only the SD versions will work for you.
Regarding the discovery+ app - could you please check the account page and confirm that it says it is billed by EE?
Your EE account isn't currently associated with any EE ID, so I'm confused as to how it shows that discovery+ has even been activated. If you log into ee.co.uk and then add your account number to your profile, I can then reset your discovery+ activation to allow you to pair it with the login of your choice.

Hi Darren. I also pay for the HD package, or I did with BT
I've just migrated across from BT.
When I try to watch TNT Sports on either the EE guide or via the App it tells me I need to change my subscription, yet they confirmed it is on my subscription when I called.
I'm not sure what details to use to log in to my EE account, and also puzzled as to why it isn't associated with an EE id!
I've never logged in to my EE account so don't have a password and don't know my account details etc
I've never been given any details regarding logging in or my account. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated

Unfortunately your HD package wasn't carried across when you moved - you'll need to request that it be added by giving us a call.
With that in mind, could you please try playing the SD channels instead? e.g. TNT Sports 1 on channel 408? I believe this should work OK for you. Assuming that's OK, the HD options will start working when you add them to your package.
I can see that you have an EE ID with your email address - last used on May 29th. If you log into EE Home (using the password reset option as needed) and then click the "Link a product" button near the bottom of the screen, you'll be able to add your new EE account number to your profile. Once complete, you'll then be able to use that EE ID to log into the EE TV apps and https://player.ee.co.uk/
Let me know once you've set that up, and I'll help you get set up with discovery+ again.
