There is no sound when whatever show we're watching comes back after the adverts. Any ideas why? Thanks

Same issue here and its now may 2025, is there an update ??????

Discovery+ is a one reason why i signed a new contract with EE. A little unfair a month ago when i signed up and was not told about this issue. 😡

Apparently there are 11 outstanding customers left with this issue and they are looking at it (again). If you have not contacted them it would probably a good idea. I have had different ongoing issues since getting the EE kit nearly a year ago...

11 customers?! Seems unlikely. I can't imagine a software issue being so specific to such a small number of customers. I suspect others are just putting up with it.
I still have this issue and it only happens on my EE TV box. Watching on Apple TV doesn't have the problem.

11 customers being unlikely is what I said to them. The EE box was kicking sound off on my Denon box on all stations last year (they claim it was only an issue from 3rd December but it was happening from May) I have not re-connected it until they confirm it's not an issue

Just called tech at EE and they are still looking into it with disc+ and youview.

I was advised to use the yellow ethernet cable between EE tv box and hub. Sound has been restored after ads.

Tried discovery+ in another room using the EEmini box and there is no problem with sound after ads.

Has to be a glitch/confliction with the EE tv box pro. Hope this helps.

Thanks for that info. No good if on WiFi though. I’d need a 5 meter
Ethernet cable.

Hi, I had the advice to use a wired connection. Makes no difference at all.

@How4  That seems like a cop out to try to blame it on the connection. Mine was always hard wired and I still have the issue.

Getting this issue too. It is very frustrating. Using ethernet cable.

I have the same problem. I am not connected to a sound system and have tried wifi and ethernet and the problem persists. The only way round it for me is to leave the programme, rejoin and resume. A bit of a hassle.
