Channels in the 3xx number showing "No Information Available"

This problem started a couple of months or so ago.

Have tried rebooting the box but nothing seems to fix it.

If i am watching a channel in the 3xx numbers (Sky, Discovery etc) and i bring up the guide, it shows No Information Available.

The only "fix" i have is to move up and down the list to get the info to appear but the next time i go into the guide, there's "No Information Available" again.

2 things I'd suggest:

1. Scan for channels from the Settings/TV Channels screen.  This should rebuild the channel index, in case it has become corrupt.

2. If that doesn't work, try a factory reset (keep recordings).

The power setting shouldn't have any bearing on this at all.

What Hub\Router are you using ?  , Also are you using Antenna Mode Or Streaming mode ?

Might be well worth checking out this thread

Hi

Its a EE smart hub 6.

The channels in the 3xx range are all streaming channels and it's only those channels.

Other channels like the terrestrial SD and HD channels are not affected.

Its not that the guide isn't working - just when you switch to the guide whilst watching the channels shown in the photo, the guide shows no information available until you press Page Up and then down again. Come out of the guide and go back in and No Information Available again....

Otherwise the guide works fine....

Thanks @DarrenDev @I’ll give that a go and post back later.

Thanks @Profile closed but it really isn’t what is described in that thread at all. It’s not the whole guide and the behaviour is exactly as I described.

Channel rescan hasn’t made any difference.
Will a reset (save recordings) wipe out scheduled recordings or does just keep the actual recorded programs?

Kid of a similar problem only difference is in that thread its all channels & in your case its some channels but anyways good luck with the factory reset, hopefully it will solve the issue.

I checked this again. The issue in the thread above was to do with the box starting up and not displaying the channel info quickly. In my case the tv could have been on for hours and it still does it.

Did you try the factory reset as @DarrenDev  suggested ?

Not yet. Might do it at the weekend.
