Hi

Second day of sound & vision for BBC One being out of sync when selected from TV guide - ALL other channels are absolutely fine. BBC One is ok on the iPlayer.

I have done everything suggested - sound sync, resets, restarts etc but no success yet.

I note someone has similar problem, mentioned on Twitter/X

HELP!!!!!!!!

Thanks

Needless to say, we're baffed -  we cannot reproduce, and cannot think why BBC One would behave any differently to all the other BBC channels available.

One other test for now.  As you're between TV regions, you should find another version of BBC One in the 800 channel range.  Can you check if that also has the same issue?

800 is OK, so maybe it's a location thing. Maybe they have changed
something at bbc as like I said it was OK last week.

Thanks

I assume you see the same channel on 1 and 800, and the same programme on both?  But 1 is out of sync, and 800 is OK?

Also, would you be able to record a video of it, and email it to me at eetvsupport@ee.co.uk ?

Yes, it was switching between the two and it was quite noticeable.

Just to confirm my understanding of your response:

Channels 1 and 800 are showing the same programme.  On 1, the audio sync is bad.  On 800, the audio sync is good.

Is that correct?

Yes, that is correct

OK, another test:

In settings, TV Channels, scan for channels again.  After the scan, it'll ask you to select a TV region - select London.

Then double check the sync issue - is the issue still on 1? Or has it moved to 800+?

Hi, if I pick london we will lose the local news channel won't we or is
this just to prove it's a location thing?

Yes - just a temporary thing.  It'll only take a few seconds to switch, and then you can switch back after the test is complete.

They all seem OK now?
