Can somebody confirm that for Business sim-only customers, it is possible to call, text and use data like at home in South Africa if you have the Roam Abroad Pass?

The Roam Abroad Pass is not valid in S.Africa. It only covers these non-EU states: USA, Canada, Mexico, NZ & Oz.

As it is not in EU, you cannot use your usual UK allowances there but will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/roaming-costs/countries/southafrica.

If you are on contract, remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure roaming is enabled on your account.

Actually, I phoned EE Business, and South Africa is included in the Roam Abroad Pass.

As are the countries you mentioned, plus China as well.

It seems that Business customers have two additional countries to Personal customers.

" If you have a plan with Inclusive Extras (Smart Plans and Full Works Plans), you've two options. Choose our Roam Abroad Inclusive Extras or take a £10 Roam Abroad Monthly Pass at any time and you won’t have to pay the £2 daily charge in the EU. Roam Abroad Inclusive Extras and £10 Roam Abroad Monthly Pass gives you access to use your plan's minutes, texts, and data allowance while in EU, USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, China & South Africa. So, using your mobile in any of the destinations covered will cost the same as it does at home. You can select the Roam Abroad Inclusive Extras by texting PICK to 150. "

The only reference I can immediately find to inclusive SA roaming, is at https://business.ee.co.uk/help/network-and-coverage/roaming/ which refers to a daily pass.

I would personally want to see a webpage supporting what CS have advised, before relying on it.
