Roam abroad pass in China

Hanna32
Visitor

Hi, I went to China this March with my EE contract sim. I had roam abroad pass add ons in my account but when I arrived in China, I noticed I CAN NOT use my data at all and I got message from EE " welcome to china. text PASSPORT" to 150 to opt into business daily passport. you will get ltd calls and texts and 1GB data per day for £8.44/day while roaming.

I was wondering why I STILL need to buy a daily passport ? I had ROAM abroad pass already. I felt so confusing.

Any friends can give me suggestions? Many thanks. As I AM GOING to China next month and facing the same problem again.
