I aleays miss the times it is on being busy but will try,  i suspect they will do nothing though

I’ve a phone for work that I don’t use very often, and what I find weird is that I haven’t topped it up in 7 weeks, and got this text within 90 minutes of topping it up. How’d they know I’d topped up?

@TonyT2  The text could have been sent some time before when your phone was off. The network stores it, tries to resend it every now and then and so it appears soon after your phone is able to receive texts again.

I just got the same text,glad i i checked on here first😡

Would it be worth un-hyperlinking or striking through the hyperlinks that users of this forum seem to copy and paste/type, like below, that are littered across this forum?

Hardly! It's not the clicking on the link that's risky but the filling in of the fake forms it presents.

Hi @Sha55a71.

Welcome to the community.

I'm glad you checked and didn't enter any details.

I'd recommend forwarding the message onto 7726 so it can be investigated further.

I’ve just received a similar text message from +44 7742 140703 saying that my bill couldn’t be processed etc etc. I will report to 7726 but I am abroad at the moment so can’t send, will do so when I am home

Hi,

Stupidly I followed the link but the page was fortunately blocked.

Subsequently I realised it was a scam and I deleted the text before I was able to forward.

is there anything else I should do?
