And FYI, if you were to receive of suspicious email doing a similar thing
then forward it to 'report@phishing.gov.uk'.

I have had lots of different scam emails through since the pandemic hit...
the one request bank details to avoid my Netflix account being closed is
the email I seem to get most frequently. Problem is our Netflix account
isn't in my name! My details aren't linked to it! They obviously bank open
you having the subscription and 'hit & hope' as it were!!🤬

I just feel for the person that stumbles upon this email and replies! They
seem to be getting so much more authentic looking! We all need to remain
vigilant and whenever we see an attempt; report it immediately.

Take care Ashley,
Ashley.

They don't. They just assume and hope the person who receives it is with
EE. Similar to the Netflix emails who work on the basis of presumption.
Makes me sick! Did you report the text?

Indeed I did thank you it is reported & number blocked, as after reading through this thread it would be hard to miss the reporting number.

Sadly I did enter an email address and password! It’s extremely rare for me to get taken in but the link looked very like yours.
