Just had a couple messages through from a contact regarding them sending a photo/video and to click link and input number and code which then gets sent? Assume this is a scam ?

I've sent you an EE Photo/Video Message. Go to https://eeuk.mms.ee.co.uk/eeuk/ Your message is valid for 7 days

No, it isn't!  It's EE informing you of an MMS sent to you that your phone isn't set up for. You 1st receive a text asking you to pick up an MMS at that link followed by a 2nd text later with the pwd.

For most phones, you can download the MMS settings needed from the online set up tool , so you can receive MMS directly w/out being directed to EE's d/load site.

Hi @Andrewmb.

Have you tried viewing the MMS message through the link in the text?

Jon

At the time I didn’t have the password but then the link stopped being a link in the text ( if that makes sense ) received 2 more texts overnight but again, link not working as a link - I haven’t tried using the password that was sent

@Andrewmb , Have you checked in settings then go to messages and make sure that MMS Messaging is allowed, you should then receive it, not sure, but that may be the problem, might be worth checking.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
Thank you 👍 all sorted now - thanks for the replies
