Scam

I was scammed from someone claiming to work for EE. I was offered the new iPhone for a good price. Everything was looking 100% real as I checked the number that called me and it was coming up as a EE customer service. So I genuinely believed and accepted the offer. The next day I received the iPhone but it was a wrong one the same

person was in touch with me and said that a new phone will be send to me and to compensate me for the mistake i will have a gift. When he said to me to go and send it back to them i was a bit confused and I asked why not arranging a pick up he said it will be quicker if i send it so they can arrange everything else. ( never been scammed before and everything looked so legit to me i never ever thought that this could be a scam) any way when i when to royal mail the guy said he  just spoke to his manager and its going to be better to send it to a customer that got my order and he will send yours. as i did ( very silly of me i know what all of you would think) in that moment i even didn’t think what is going on. Any way the next day i never received the phone and realized that its all a scam. So i am left now with no phone anxiety and a massive bill to pay because someone decided that the easiest way to earn some cash is to scam normal people. I spoke to the EE police and bank. All i am hopping is that EE wont make me pay that massive bill. Is there anyone is the same situation as me ? Is there any chance to get this sorted? Thank you.
