Scam re EE/BT merger

annie_stu
Visitor

I just received a call from a Southampton number (023 8244 2991) claiming I would be receiving a new SIM card tomorrow due to the EE/BT merger. They said they would transfer me to another department, but I hung up, assuming it was a scam. Can you confirm that it is?
