I've just had a call from 02031037821, didn't answer and checked the no. It's been reported numerous times as a scam saying the are from EE. Thing I'm concerned about is, this has happened after I sent some time on Monday with yourselves re my broadband, firstly with tech support and then sales! Very strange that a couple of days later I get a scam call!! Seems like someone in your company is passing on numbers!!

They called me too! I stupidly fell for it to start with but hung up just in the nick of time - thankfully!
Notified EE who checked my account is safe.
I co sider myself pretty savvy bu they are VERY clever. BE CAREFUL!

Hi @Nickyd68
Welcome to the EE Community.
Thanks for reaching out.
You can check if a call is genuine and from us on our How Do We Contact You page.
Or if the call was from our Direct Partners at Phone numbers EE partners will call from.
It will only be a coincidence that you have received a call from a 3rd party company near the time you have called customer service.
If you're concerned about unsolicited contact from other companies, you can visit How to avoid and prevent scams including phishing, vishing and smishing for hints on how to block and prevent these.
You can also report the call to be investigated at Report a scam call | Help
Alternatively, text CALL followed by the number that called you, to 7726 .

Got a call from the same number this morning. Came up on the phone with a warning Potential Scam so didn't answer it.
Hopefully will pop up with similar warning on all EE phones.
Makes a change to hear that phone companies are taking this sort of thing seriously so thank you EE.

I had the same problem on 14/12/24 was on the phone for 25 minutes. They knew my contract I was on , my address, how much my monthly bill is and said they would reduce it. Had trouble understanding what they were saying( India possibly)
Stupidly I gave them my email address had a few emails and text messages with verification codes to change my password thing is they look like they are from EE can’t see anything different on the email address. Luckily when they said something about credit card/ bank card I said I didn’t have any and it was set up by direct debit. Hopefully the info I did give away wasn’t any use to them. Feel a tad stupid. They were supposed to call back this morning and a new sim card was supposed to arrive today via courier. They did provide a second phone number to call if I had any questions 020 32872626 thank goodness I didn’t give any card information to them 🤬

Hi @Cazz6
Welcome to the Community!
We know how concerning it can be to receive one of these calls, so I can understand your concern. I would recommend giving our team a call, and they will be able to check that everything with your account is still secure. You can also report this, so our team can look into the origins of this.

Hi @Cazz6 If you'd like to give us a call, you'd just need to dial 150 from an EE phone, or 07953 966 150 from any other phone.
You should be able to block the number that's called you, it does vary depending on which phone you have, but when you select the number, it should give you the option to block the number.
