Message scam about rewards points from EE

Hi is anyone else getting messages supposed to be from EE  saying they've got thousands of rewards points that's going to be  lost in 2 days if they dont  click on the link to spend them?

Yeah that's the scam, glad your on the ball and if we all stick together

Hello I have reported this scam and sent the message details. I have also blocked the number , and changed my EE password.

Great you have done the right thing in reporting it. I hope you didn't click on the link and entered any of your details especially your bank account details? if you did may l suggest you contact your bank as well so they can investigate and stop any payments they try and take out of your account.

Cant believe i fell for that!  

I kept on trying with 2 of my main cards that is registered with most of my bills 😞 😡

Just had to cancel them for a replacement.

 

People get fooled on a regular basis so don't beat ya-self up. You've
cancelled your cards that's good, you've come here and reported it and
once bitten twice shy and your be more aware if there is a next time. Stay
safe 👍
