@Lemonlips13 : It's a scam! There are many of these going the rounds. EE would never send you a msg asking you to click on a link in order to update your a/c. The link in it that it tells you to click is obviously not EE.

Report it to your network provider by forwarding the text to 7726 (S.P.A.M. on your keypad).

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

I had exactly the same text on 4 January 2024, but from what I assume is an international number. +639452110198 .

It invited me to click link to https://cutt.ly/hwHqnCB?Zwu=CsAPHSKKov I tried to forward it to 7726 but this wasn't an option  (possibly as it was international). I did send the number to 7726.   I cannot work out how to report to ee.

Unfortunately I did click on the link . It didn't seem to work but I am now anxious  that my number has been compromised

Hi @MrsW7,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Don't worry, if you didn't share any details with the website you don't need to worry.

It looks like the website has already been taken down so it doesn't need to be reported.

Thanks

James

I'm really sorry to hear that, @suckindiesel

Thank you for reporting this to us. Have you spoken to your bank and changed your passwords etc?

Chris
