Message scam about rewards points from EE

Hi is anyone else getting messages supposed to be from EE  saying they've got thousands of rewards points that's going to be  lost in 2 days if they dont  click on the link to spend them?

Well I haven't called or been called by EE and have still had a few of them
over past few days. Only things we can do as consumers is report them to
7726 (SCAM on a keypad) and let EE VODA SKY O2 etc do whatever they need to
do. It's in any phone networks interest to stop this sort of thing asap as
it looks bad on them, when in reality there's little they can do before it
happens. At least once I've reported any numbers to 7726 they have been
very quick to shut them down.

i have had loads

Royal Mail (APPARENTLY!) there's fraudsters circulating these same emails containing the link "Buzz" so stay safe guys.

Let's share, share, and share!!

I did as well, I entered my mobile number, should I be worried? I didn't go any further and reported them.

I fell for it and entered my number but didn't enter anything else, should I be okay? I reported it afterwards.

I had the same but just so happened to be watching scam interceptors. You can copy and past the message and send it to 7726 they will message back and ask the number that sent it. Apparently all networks use it. Thanks Rav Wilding

Hi @Padey,

Welcome to the EE Community.

If you have confirmed your mobile number, you may see an increase in spam texts but they won't be able to access your account without any other details.
