Is this a valid EE number 07973 100606

Hi I have had calls from a number 07973 100606 saying they are from EE and wanting to offer me a better package.
If I call the number I get an automated message saying EE tried to call me

They seem to know certain details about me, address etc etc

Can anyone confirm if this is a valid EE or maybe BT number

Welcome to the community,

That is definitely an EE number, they new your details, so that is ok, it would only be a scam if they asked you for details, such as address and bank details etc.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 7953 966 or +44 330 123 1105.

Thank you for your reply. I did contact EE customer services via their chat support and they had no record of EE calling me and said report it as spam 😁 Also various reverse look up sites report it as both a scam and a verified EE number. Hence my confusion.

I suppose any half decent scammer would have some information on me and I know for a fact from various monitors that some of my personal details are on the web.

They didn’t ask me for any financial details so far and did know quite a lot of details. So I think it is genuine
