I have had a caller purporting to be from EE offering reduction in my payments, seemed a bit strange when she asked how much my current plan is, if from EE she should have known that. Anyway I listened to the end, was told someone would call me later with a PIN number to give to postman who'd be delivering the paper work. Had a call later about that and another call gave me the PIN. Had further calls that I didn't answer both last night and this morning, Wednesday 4th December 2024, very determined as when I didn't answer they kept calling every couple of minutes on multiple phones Here is list of numbers they are using, 07453 277782, 07544 099610, 07590 493189, 07474 981153, 0333 303 1173, 07800 894483, 07973 100194. As you can see they must be pretty determined to use so many numbers and there may well be more

Hi Leanne
Thanks for your reply, I did check that none of the numbers used were in the EE list of numbers, I'm intrigued to know how far down the line they start asking for bank details but I haven't got the energy for that but definitely something not right about it

I recently received a similar call that EE confirmed was fraudulent. The scammers even sent me a text message with a PIN code, which appeared to come from EE. EE informed me that the scammers might attempt to order phones using my account. Fortunately, they have flagged my account to prevent any unauthorized activity.
