Received a Sales Call from telephone number 01438 989232 saying they were EE. Supposedly changed to a pay monthly from pay as you go. Did not give any bank account details. Was this really EE?

Well, not from EE directly but from StepChange, 1 of EE's Direct partners

Me too, they are very persistent. They have called me daily since Monday. But never answered the call.

I know this is an old thread but it popped up when I googled so just wanted to flag that this organisation lies to you. They told me that they needed to sign me up to a new 24month contract with EE because all BT customers were transferring to EE. Made it sound like it wasn't optional but when I said I didn't want to start a new 24 month contract when I was already 12 months in to my contract with BT they said OK and hung up. Dodgy.

Hi @TilerJones
Welcome to the Community!
We don't want you to have any concerns about being lied to, so I'd like to help. We are working to move BT customers to EE, but if you are in contract with BT then you may be able to wait until your plan has ended. Can I check the number that called you, so we can be sure if this was one of our team?
