GDPR EE won’t stop spamming me

Anyone else found EE have completely ignored the fact you’ve requested no spam yet have started to receive spam texts again?
It’s not the first time I’ve complained about this and it stopped for a while but in the last few weeks I’ve been getting them again and even them signing me up to packages when I didn’t reply my consent to do so!
Customer service haven’t replied to my complaint.

Before I report them for a GDPR breach I wondered if this wa a happening to anyone else?

Hi @Zannnna

I'm sorry to hear this, are you receiving marketing texts from us for offers?

Which package has been added?

Thanks.

Leanne.

Yes me too.  I regularly have to chase them to stop spamming me.  I didn't know we can report them for a GDPR breach, I'll certainly look into that so thank you.  I've had the identical text on friday, tuesday, wednesday and today.

Hi @Hannah260

You can adjust your marketing preferences by visiting our Privacy Policy page for more information.

Under the heading "Your Rights" open 'How do I make a request?'
Then click on the Online Form to request the change

@Hannah260  How would it be a breach of the GDRP ?   EE know your number and are not giving it to anyone.    I think when this was originally posted on here @Zannnna  didn’t know what the GDRP actually is..

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Done that, it just tells me to update my marketing preferences on my ee, I can't even find marketing preferences, let alone update them.  This situation crops up regularly.  Ee are a pain, how many times they've been told to give it a rest with the spamming and yet they carry on.  I'm registered with the telephone preference service but apparently ee don't think this applies to them.  As I see it, the only solution to this problem, which is affecting a lot of people, is to ditch ee and get a proper phone company who keep the law.

@Hannah260

If you scroll down past where it suggests to use MyEE, there is a form you can fill out.

Ali

Yes, that form eventually advises me to update my marketing preferences on my ee, which I can't because I can't see where to do that.

I can only repeat, again, the form advises me to update marketing preferences on my ee.  Maybe you cannot understand this, this is the third time I've said it and I can't think of any way to make it clearer.  Is there anyone else who could look at this situation for us?
