Email received from EE regarding order not made.

Hi,

I am not an EE customer but received an email from no-reply@info.ee.co.uk using my name to inform me that I had made an order (which I did not).

Is this a scam/phishing email or has someone fraudulently used my email address/contact details?

i tried calling EE but could not get through.

Hey there @jacka_21.

Welcome to the EE Community!

I've had to reject the image that you've uploaded here as there's personal information on it that we can't share in public.

It's always good to get these things double checked though, and you can't be too cautious when it comes to the risk of scam emails etc.

From what I saw this does look to be a genuine email from us though, so chances are there's been a typo when entering the customer's email address for a new contract.

If you contact our broadband team, they'll be able to get this checked out for you.

Peter
