In a moment of stupidity I opened a text message link and put in my phone number on a EE points rewards scam text. I realised immediately after and closed the website so all they have is my phone number. Do I need to do anything? Any advice would be appreciated.

You gave them nowt that they didn't already know. They had your phone no. already to send you a text but you have confirmed to them that your phone no. is live.
Report spam texts to your network provider by forwarding the text to 7726 (S.P.A.M. on your keypad).

I also had this message and proceeded to complete the form. What do I need to do?

Hi @Foxie2912
I'm sorry to hear that you've received a spam message.
As well as following the above advice, I'd recommend contacting your bank to let them know.

Why would you rec we contact our bank if we just gave the website a phone number they already have?

I believe the individual responded to in this case proceeded to fill out the form in full.
Without navigating to this malicious link it is impossible to know what details were asked for and provided.
It is safe to assume the details they would ask for are in order to obtain information they can use to either compromise accounts (EE accounts or others) or obtain funds fraudulently from victims. Getting in touch with a bank (in addition to EE) and asking for their help promptly can pre-empt this, such as blocking transactions or card purchases which may be initiated.

Thanks for clarifying.

I done the same but my thinking is they already had my number hopefully it’s safe they didn’t get a email address or any passwords/banking details.
