I have recieved the below text and was wondering if it is a scam:
We've freshened up our SIM plans and we need to move you to a new one. We've put together all your options at http://discover.ee.co.uk/I8W5A2d5
Or, if you do nothing, we'll automatically move you to a new 30-day rolling SIM plan with 40GB, unlimited mins and texts for £19 a month on 07 August.
Your current price and benefits will change if we move you onto this and your plan and some other charges will increase annually on or after 31 March each year in line with CPI+ 3.9%. For full details go to http://discover.ee.co.uk/I8W5A2d5
If you're not happy with these changes, you can choose to leave EE - though we really hope you'll stay.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hello @KS0607 ,
Welcome to the community,
If you are concerned about this, you can always ring customer service and they will let you know whether it is a scam or not, and can discuss your options with them as well.
