new customer for pay months have to start with physical sim?

I am trying to order Full Works SIM 24M T 24 months contract. As a new customer.

But there's nowhere a question if I want an esim.   Do I have to first receive a physical sim?  do I have to pay after that to get an esim instead?

@chriscatee , are you already an EE customer on pay as you go? Then you do not need a new SIM card, as that would be in upgrade only, but you can then request a replacement SIM card in settings via the app and reguest an ESim rather than a physical  SIM card..I would just wait until the upgrade.

If a completely new customer, then you would have to wait until you have received your SIM card and then request an ESim.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
