Currently in South Africa. My iPhone 13 using a monthly plan with eSIM
phone ee to try and save a few pennies and was ‘sold’ a new package PAYG. Unknowingly, I accepted, only to later find out that pAYG can’t be on an eSIM!

call back at huge expense, to revert my plan back to how it was…. That’s where the trouble lies.
ee customer service is nothing short of useless. I can’t use my phone from SA so use my partners to make all the calls etc (8 hours yesterday and 4 hours so far today. It’s cost the earth!

was sold another package signed off the DD etc and waited for the activation email…. And waited….
nothing!

wake up EE. A complaint has gone in and I intend to follow up with a claim for expenses.
can’t they, under the circumstances call me on Whatsapp? It’s not beyond the wit of man and. You are a communications supplier.

angry and very upset to say the least.

Vodacom it might be for me (and my Compzny with 33 phones on contract!!!

@Valerie2121  Your issue is you’re not in the UK.  You can not change to a PAYG outside the UK and you can not change from a PAYG to a contract outside the UK as roaming isn’t enabled for the sim to activate and in order for roaming to be enabled the sim has to be activated first as you need a working sim.   Nothing will make this work while your not in the UK.   You’re only hope is to request a replacement SIM card this will be sent to your UK billing address and will need to be activated in the UK first then someone will have to post it to you.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 150 from any other phone.
