eSIM number still showing as my temporary number

Hi, I’ve recently swapped from Talkmobile to EE and brought my number with me.

The transfer went through but my eSIM number still shows as the temporary one and not my actual number.

 

How do I go about getting this changed, I’ve tried to change it in the settings but it doesn’t let me

Im Unable to send messages due to the number being incorrect

@DeanT1991  Have you restated the device since the number migration?   

Have you received a text to inform you it’s now been completed?   When did you join EE ?   It takes up to 24 hours to migrate a number is it’s not done over a weekend.   

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Device has been restarted multiple times and the account has been switched over for about a month or so now

Is it an iPhone or an Android device you are using?

@DeanT1991   Your need to speak with customer support as it sounds like the PAC request wasn’t made or hasn’t been completed.  

You can not change the number of the eSim yourself.    If it’s a iPhone switch off iMessage add FaceTime and restart the device then check your number in settings>apps>phone.  If it’s now correct you can switch iMessage and FaceTime back on.

The PAC request worked as far as I know as my number is showing up on my EE account and not the temporary number.

Tried to follow the steps you advised but the number in my phone stays the same so I’ll have to contact customer support to see if they can fix it
