Resolved! Activate new sim

My new sim will not activate. My old phone got stolen and I requested the old sim to be blocked and a new one sent out. The new sim with my previous number has arrived and it won’t activate???

I've set up my phone with an EE sim and was promised that my BT number would be transferred.Over 24 hours now, not changed yet. How long do I have to wait for this to be updated?
