Purchased our contracts on Friday and neither my husband or I have received any information about our esim or how to download.
We've both recieved an email with our order confirmation and that's it.
Any idea when we will receive it?

Hello @Abistringer ,
Welcome to the community,
Are you new customers? You would receive a physical SIM card first, when you can then change it to an ESIM, SIM cards are sent out via second class post.

@Schockwave You can order an eSIM without a physical SIM, most phone shops from Vodafone to EE alike would rather issue a physical SIM first as people can have a lot of issues with eSIMs, they try to Avoid them, if done online directly with EE then this would just be an eSIM, I did enquiry about having an eSIM I was encouraged against it, but if ordered over the phone as an eSIM wouldn’t normally generate a physical SIM unless the Guide physically told the customer that it would be a Physical SIM then move it to eSIM which this customer hasn’t mentioned. Also if ordered instore the eSIM or SIM would have been activated before the customer left the store, so based on the information provided I can safely say this customer ordered it Online and got confirmation of an eSIM.
If you’re new to EE and have ordered an eSIM with your pay monthly device directly from us, you’ll either:
If you’ve ordered an eSIM for a SIM only plan with us, you’ll be able to download your eSIM by logging in to EE. Simply follow the instructions in your confirmation email. If you’re using the EE app, make sure you’re using the latest version.
If you're upgrading to a newer iPhone model, you can convert your physical SIM to an eSIM or transfer your eSIM as part of the Quick Start set up on your new iPhone. Both the old and new iPhone will need to be on iOS 15.4 or above.
If you’ve upgraded your EE device and had an eSIM before, you’ll need to log in to EE and order a replacement eSIM to download to your new device.
You will need a WiFi or a mobile data connection to download your eSIM.
If you’ve been sent a paper QR code, just simply scan it and follow the ‘on device’ prompts. The information stored in it will allow us to add the eSIM to your device safely and securely.
If you selected an eSIM and haven’t been sent a paper QR code, simply switch on your new device and follow the onscreen prompts. For more information select your device type from the list below:
