Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone from EE or the community can help because I haven’t been able to get through to anyone directly.
I purchased an EE eSIM and requested to port my number from Three UK two days ago. The port request was submitted successfully, but my EE SIM is still showing the temporary number and my original number has not moved over yet.
This is quite urgent because I am still within the cooling-off period with Three, and I was told that as soon as my number ports to EE it will automatically cancel my Three account. I need the port to complete today so that I can cancel within the cooling-off window.
At the moment:
The eSIM is active on EE
The number port was requested 48 hours ago
My EE SIM is still showing the temporary number
My original number has not transferred yet
Has anyone experienced this before or know if there’s a way for EE to manually push or check the port status?
Any help would be really appreciated as I’m under time pressure to resolve this today.
Thanks in advance.

A port-in should normally be actioned the working day after PAC submission, or - when a PAC is supplied as part of a new order - SIM activation .
To query your specific port-in would need access to your individual account, which is not available on this internet forum. EE-CS have that access on 150.

@Scree porting out your number isn’t using the calling off period, your terminating the contract which is different to when you call customer services and tell them you no longer want the tariff and you’ve had a change of mind. Porting out from 3 to EE like this will result in you having to pay off the 3 contract as this will automatically close the 3 account. You need to speak with 3 asap

I've already spoken to Three, I need EE to get the number ported, I submitted it 2 days ago.
Three are cancelling my contract within the cooling off period due to poor data performance, so they told me there would be no charge once the number porting was completed within the cooling off period.
My numnber is still active on my Three sim card, hence the Three contract remaining active until EE take over.
