Upgraded phone but no sim

I have today picked up my new phone that I have upgraded to, opened it all up to set it up tonight and can't find a sim card at all. I'm sure previous times when I have upgraded I have always had a new sim is this not the case anymore? Do I just put my old sim card in or should I have a new one? Thanks

@Emmasven  if you’re old one fits just put that in your new device.   You only need a new sim if the old one doesn’t fit or it’s faulty.  

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
